Spainish Colonization of Brazil
The colonization of Brazil consisted of exploitation of land and indigenous people. The people were made into slaves or converted to Catholicism by Jesuit Missionaries. The slaves worked in gold mines or sugar plantations and this made the European countries very wealthy.
