English Colonizing America

Before America came to be, back when it was the "new land", it was inhabited with many Native Americans. When the British arrived they took the Native American's culture. Settling on and taking their land, bringing disease, and trying to take away their religion. Sometimes they were forced to convert and other times they began to question their religion and doubted the ability of their shamen to heal because of the new diseases. They soon believed in what the British said because of their ability to kill. Their culture was removed with the colonization of the British.

  1. I agree that the British took their culture, and completely changing their lifestyles. Since they brought new diseases and unknown things like guns they seemed like gods, but all they were were a different culture(the british). The natives believed that land belonged to everybody, people only live on land not own it. Their ideals and beliefs were totally different then that of the British so it created conflict and war.
