Haiti Earthquake

On Jan. 12, as we all know haiti was struck by one of the worst natural disasters the UN has ever faced. It destroyed the government of the whole nation and now has left only anarchy in its wake. Supplies is almost impossible to distribute because of the lack of the possibility of transportation. I was wondering, why cant the red cross se a helicopter to reach destinations of critical need but difficult access? Maybe because of the fear of looting for supplies. This whole incident is one huge mess.
