Sachs Poverty Book Response

I think tha Sach is making a good point about ending poverty but I dont know if i can agree completely with some of the things he says. His information makes me beleive that extreme poverty can be terminated however I think that his assumption about us being able to end poverty in our generatoin is acheiveable. We may be able to make a huge dent in the commodity of poverty but we cannot completely eliminate poverty. Plus if we were to try to stop it we should do it in a matter acceptable to the people who are struck by poverty which will take longer than just giving them money. The empoverished people would like to get themselves out of poverty not have somebody throw money in their face.
