Poverty

This is what i did my project on in the 3rd quarter and I got a lot of my imformation from www.globalissues.org. The statistics were extremely shocking to me and really made me appreciate where i live so much more. Many countries dont have the privledges and the life that people in the U.S. have. The fact that over 3 billion people live off of less 2.50 and 25,000 children die everyday due to poverty is extremely shocking and sad. People live off of half of what I spend daily on lunch. That is so shocking to be because I have grown up in a world of consumers and
I can't imagine what it would be like as my family of 5 living on less then 2.50 a day. The fact that 25,000 children die daily shows that we need to try to put an end to poverty and we are the generation that can make that possible. We need to save these poor innocent children that were given such a short life just because they were that poverty-stricken.
