End of Poverty Response

I kinda of agree with Jeffrey Sachs, but then I do not agree with him on some stances. He said that Extreme Poverty can be solved and yes, I agree with that. I think extreme poverty can be solved, but I do not think that poverty can be solved completely. I think as sad as it is, there will always be people that are poorer than others. Sachs does have some great ideas on how to solve poverty, but I do not think that it can solve all poverty. I think that it can help solve extreme poverty. I think that it was very interesting to read about 22 different developed countries that are trying to help with international aid to underdeveloped countries. There was a promise between these countries that 0.7% of their Nations income would go to international aid. It was shocking to me that the United States only gave 0.22% of the income. It surprised me because it made me wonder, where is the rest of all this money going? I then figured out that some countries want to fix their own struggles before moving on and helping a lot to other countries. This brings me back to poverty can not really be a solved issue because there is always going to be problems in the world and a lot of the problems are going to have to involved money. I do agree with Sachs that extreme poverty can end though!
