Eradicating World Poverty
I believe that it is possible over a long period of time to eradicate world poverty. This is possible through educating the impoverished and teach them how to do a certain profession to make a living of them and their family. Eventually this would pay off and the people living under the poverty line will decrease. Also if we stopped spending money on things like makeup that aren't necessary and put that money toward education. This obviously can't happen in one day but over time it would build up. If someone lived on a $1 a day and it then increased to $20 a day they are on their way to getting out of poverty. Also I kept hearing people say that there will always be a lower class. Just because you are in lower class does not mean that you live in poverty. Some obviously might but certainly not everybody. Like we saw in the video of the man who went to India and gave out $20 dollar loans which was enough for people to make a business and make money for themselves. To us here $20 isn't a lot but for a lot of people $20 dollars is a new beginning. If that happened more often then more people could get out of poverty faster. Also people need to get out of poverty self-sufficiently. They don't need to rely on the richer people to give them money. They can do it themselves and through education that is possible.
