Poverty

Reading these statistics made me wonder why people were still in poverty when the world obviously has the resources to get them out. Why don't people share like we all learned to in Kindergarten? Is it really that hard to help out our fellow man? I am now motivated to help and make a change, because these statistics show that every dollar counts.

  1. No it is not hard but I thinkwe just neglect to do it to maintain a certain amount of power. I think we ought to start helping more and giving than holding back and being selfish.

  2. I completely agree I feel like we should stop spending money on things that really arent necassary. Like we learned on Frieday of what one music video costs and how many people that money could help if we spent it on something. People need to stop being selfish and do that more because they could save thousands of lives and if people worked together we could save millions of lives. Everyone can make a difference and we need to work to end world poverty.
