Poverty Debate

I think that ending world poverty is something that would be very difficult, and obviously would not be accomplished in a short amount of time. But, I think that eventually we can stop it. During the debate, many people were saying that the richer countries wouldn't want to give money to the poorer countries. I agree with this statement, which is why it would be better to provide the poorer countries with basic educations so that they can help themselves. Teaching some people would be helpful because then they could teach others who would teach others. This would be a gradual process, but it would still get us somewhere in the long run.
