Poverty

The statistics in these articles may be a little outdated but they are still very shocking. It is very unfortanmate to know that only a small amount of countries use up all the resources and the others don't get any. I think we need to undertsand that poverty is an ever growing issue and that we need to get more involveld. I think we need to understand that we need to share the Earth more because we all live on it and it is everyone's.

  1. I agree, Matt. It was really upsetting to see how many countries don't have any resources or very little. Poverty is a big issue and the only way we can help get rid of it, is if everyone helps out and share what we have.

  2. I also agree. It's shocking to see that even if these articles are a bit outdated, what the numbers today look like. And you're absolutely right, the Earth does not belong to any one country, it belongs to everyone and we all need to work together. In fact, Rachel, you're correct in saying that everyone could pitch in to help. The help of one person could change the lives of a couple hundred people.

  3. Well there is always going to be a bottom class in a capitalist society and in communism pretty much everybody is in the lowest class. However, if you think about it with the top class progressing so fast it would be easier to make changes to the way things are run and how to make the world a better place to live in for everyone.
