I never knew how much education affects the poverty levels in a country. With lack of education available in a country makes it harder for people to get jobs, because of people being illiterate and then not being able to get good jobs. This article made me realize exactly how important of a role education plays in a country. It also bugged me that discrimination was still a big issue in the world. It was sad to know people were being turned away from receiving an education because of discrimination.
