response to "the mission."

I liked the movie "Mission" a lot, even though we still have some left to watch. It’s a little hard to know what’s happening the entire time, and you sort of figure out what happened after the scenes over. The Portuguese would do anything for the land, and I think it showed that well. What the Native people went through, a lot of them died so that the other people wouldn’t have their land. The native people adapted to their land well, and had a system to do things. When the one judge man went there to see how it was run, he was impressed by them and how they acted. It was violent at the end, but I like the idea of watching a movie. It’s easier to understand what it was like there at that time, and what all the sides went through.
