The Mission Response

The Mission was a very interesting movie. I liked it for the most part. I had a hard time watching all the violence, but the movie gave me a new perspective because this movie really told a story. It was not a happily ever after ending which is what a lot of movies are like. They made the movie in such a good way so that the movie told a real life story and they really stuck to what really happened between Brazil and Portugal. I learned a lot about the struggles the natives faced and I really felt that I was a native because of how well the movie was made. The missionaries were so significant to this movie and they brought a little light to the situations going on. I am sad with how the movie ended, but it is real life and we can't change what happened in the past. Overall, I liked the movie and I can't wait to watch other movies having to deal with this topic of globalization.
