The Mission

This movie was really interesting. I really enjoyed the two different point of views in the video. There were people who did not even consider the Natives as being people. They referred to the Natives as animals, like a dog. For example, when the litle boy was singing they said that he was "taught" to sing. I thought it was very rough. But in contrast to that there were people who liked the Natives and wanted to fight for rights for the Natives. For example, the main priest was trying to make it known that the Spanish and Portugese did so have Natives as slaves. It was real sad when one of the Natives working on a plantation had all of these bruises on his back. Another thing i really found different was that there were all these churches and alot of Natives that converted and all. You would see Natives singing in choirs and all. It was a nice movie.
