The Mission

I liked that this movie wasn't a documentary. It had well known actors in it, and that's not the sort of movie you usually see in a history class. I think that it's portrayal of Spain and Portugal colonizing Latin America was both disturbing and very informative. Watching people forcefully remove others from their land so they can gain power is terrible. I think that the violence was well used to get across the point without being too much. I liked this movie a lot, despite the somewhat graphic images of how Spain and Portugal gained New World colonies.
