The MIssion

The mission was a very facilitating movie as a whole. While the special effects weren't nearly as high tech as some movies today, it still captivated our class and was used as a helpful learning tool. This movie gave us a much better visual understanding about how the Spanish and the Portuguese fought over certain areas and how they treated the natives. I also thought it was interesting because there was not only a clash between the Portuguese and the natives but the Portuguese and the Jesuit priests, and even the Portuguese against the Spaniards.
