the mission

I think that this movie was interesting and really showed what was going on at this time. I think that it was horrible that the tribe was slaughtered like that along with the priests who converted them. I think that it was awful that the missionaries were probably sent by the church and government to convert the people and then the same people turned on them and slaughtered all the tribe members and the people who converted them. I don't think that this was very nice or very fair. I think that this (the fighting) accurately shows what happened to many native people during the time of colonization and i think that it was horrible. If they had taken the time, they could have learned to leave them alone or to live among them peacefully.
