Response to "The Mission"

Wow the movie, "The Mission", was definitely the most interesting movie that we have watched this year. Not only did it have an interesting story, but it showed an example of what we have been talking about in class. In the movie, Portugal's king wanted possession of land that the tribe was on, so the tribe fought to keep its land. The army killed the whole tribe, including the priests that had converted the tribe to Christianity. i thought this was a horrible and depressing ending to the movie, but it was still an incredibly interesting film.
