The mission

I really enjoyed this movie, although it was pretty violent at the end. I liked it because rather than reading from a text book, we got to see what that time period was like. We got to see what the Portuguese were willing to do to get that land for themselves. Also, we saw what the Native Americans went through and how many of them died just so that others could save their land. But, this movie made the Portuguese look pretty bad, and we didn't really get to see if they had a legitimate reason for trying to get the land back.
