Response to Mission Video

So far, the movie Mission has been interesting because it shows the point of view of the Natives, the Europeans who wanted land, and the missionaries. I found that this example (with the Portuguese and the Brazil natives) was a lot like other examples of Europeans coming and exploiting Natives and their land.
I thought that it was particularly interesting at the part of the movie where the Portuguese leader was saying that the Natives were just animals and not really people. I made the connection with this and other examples of colonization such as Europeans colonizing America and parts of Africa.
