The Mission Reaction

I felt that the movie depicts globalization in a way that shows how ruthlessly the Portuguese took over Brazil. The army didn't care who was in there, they just wanted the land and its resources. They were even willing to kill priests who protested their advancement. I liked the realistic climax of the movie, where the priests' plans are foiled. I felt that that ending really reflected the truth of the colonization of the new world, and the treatment of the natives there.
