In-forming

In general, in-forming is the way to get information on your own, for example a search engine like Google which is what Mr. Friedman talked about in the MIT world movie. It is a more efficient way to research and receive information rather than going to a library and ask a librarian or have an interview with an expert on the topic. Not only can you research information on search engines such as Google or Yahoo, but you can also search for addresses, look for images and videos, and also buy products. These search engines give you universal access to anything in the world. Another example of in-forming is TiVo. It's a television editor that allows you to inform yourself about entertainment that you personally want to know about. So how does informing relate to globalization? It provides a fast, efficient way for you to obtain knowledge from all around the world on an individual basis.

  1. In-forming is a very important component of globalization. It lets people connect, share, and receive information in ways that people were unable to do before. A very major example like you said was Google. Google is extremely helpful because you are able to search for information quickly and efficiently, and if you have a website that could be useful to others they could find it through Google or similar sites as well. So all in all, in-forming is very useful in society.
