Globalization in Those Brown Shorts
Friedman hit home with the UPS guys. I think that is exactly how globalization is. Globalization is excatly like the UPS guys. They deliver to different and suggested areas. Sometimes, they might deliver at the wrong spots. It's up to the recipient to do something about it (can be a good thing or bad thing). They also work in many different ways that are seemingly so obvious to everyone. But when you come down to it, what do UPS guys really do? As average citizens, we figure that their job is in alliance with those of mailmen. Come to find out they're more than that. They're driving Papa John pizza cars, fixing broken things, taking orders online. I'm serious, I bet there's one on every street watching us. It's such an irritating thought that globalization is so seclusive. No one knows how or why it happens. It just does. Hence, maybe globalization is ruled by those guys...in the brown shorts? Hmmm...
