PBS Wide Angle Response

I think that this movie was a good way for all of us to see how other children are learning around the world and what a privilege it is to have an education. We saw that many children don't start school at such an early age like we do, which puts them behind in education. We also learned that every place has a different way of learning, and some places are fortunate enough to have nice schools like us, while others have to learn at night by candle light. - Sarina Gupta

  1. I had the same thoughts when i watched the movie. I had always knew there were underpriveleged children who lived in the world and were struck by poverty, but i hadnt seen ones experience facing it. Sometimes its hard to face but the reality is a lot of kids are facing the struggle of wondering if they are going to go to school or eat a meal that day. We are fortunate kids, and sometimes take our education for granted.
