U.S Constitution-Locke

The preamble of the U.S. Constitution says, "We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselve's and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of Americas." John Locke felt that a government should give it's people liberty and take care of the welfare of the citizens which is what this preamble says. He influenced the ideas in the U.S. Constitution.
