Sachs on Science, Technology, and Poverty Response
I think that Sachs writes in a great way. He describes his ideas and thoughts in such an intricate to prove how much he cares about this topic. I really liked that in this article, he did not necessarily take on the negatives and seemed more to focus on the positives. The positives meaning what can be done to eradicate poverty. I really liked that on the last page when he was wrapping all this details up he said that if the wealthier people pay for new technologies on behalf of the poorer people, there could be maybe one day a balance economically. I really liked that he said that because science and technology now are what everyone is focused on. It is a new generation and more and more things are being created and being able to explore technology in a way to help people is great! I like that Sachs tries to use technology not so much in a negative way, but in a positive way to show what we can do to help people using our new skills with science and technology.
