Sach's article

This article was good reading. It just made me really wonder about human nature all throughout the reading. I kept squinching up my face and saying "WHY????" One would think that helping out these low-income countries would be ideal for everyone's happiness.
Learning a new term of 'quadruple bind' and it's characteristics gave me more good knowledge. I was kind of hopeful in reading about the differnt organizations that are trying to help out (such as the ones we have all heard of before: WMO, FAO, IAEA, etc). I guess it's best to say that with all the troubles and seemingly helplessness in the world, there's always plenty of room for hope. Jeffery Sachs reading in general (this article and End of Poverty) have given me more hope for our world and its living.
