Maquilladores and Dependence Theory

It took a little while for me to find what a maquilladore was, eventually I found that it meant factory. From my source, I am pretty sure that these factories do not have to abide by human rights laws because they seem to be a last resort for Mexican migrant workers. Dependence Theory is a set of theories that have kept the Third World countries in poverty and economic failure because of their dependency of the core and periphery countries.
