Why We Buy Goods from Other Countries
One of the main reasons that we purchase services and goods from other countries is the fact that we cannot produce everything in America. If we did, globalization would be as significant as it truly is. And as we mentioned, the idea of outsourcing, meaning that we hire people from other countries to do the same thing, but for cheaper labor. This occurs throughout many American companies. And the fact that if someone cannot be hired in this country, they can go to another country and find a job. But it is true that obtaining the goods from different countries can be more difficult if they are long distances away. Globalization is the cause of all of this to take place, and it's important to realize that.
