Why not make products/services/goods locally ?

The reason why people buy products and goods from other places is because it is more conveniant. You wonder: "why not make them locally?". The problem with that is that it makes things so much more complicated. For example, if your country is not native in making something then why not get that product from a country where it is native. It would be so much more money trying to grow that product because that product is not native here. The country where the product is native puts up less money than the other country where that product is not native. So, why spend more money if all you really need to do is get the products from where they are native. Not everything can be made locally. It is cheaper as well to get services from other countries -outsourcing. Basically, economically it is smarter to not make everything locally and get it from other countries where those products are native and therfore made.
