Cuban Revolution

The Cuban Revolution was a fight to win back the freedom of the Cuban citizens and to win back their rights. The Cuban Revolution began in 1959 with a failed attack on Moncada Barraks. After that, a lot of the rebels that were in that were captured and killed. At his trial Fidel Caestro gave his famous speech called "History will Absolve Me." THe war was all about trying to win back freedom, but in the process a lot of the citizens got killed dying for what they believed was right, and for that it will always be a part of Cuba's history.
