Rousseau Quote

“Never exceed your rights, and they will soon become unlimited.”

Rousseau was one of the greatest philosophers of The Enlightenment, his most famous work being The Social Contract, or the relationship between citizens and their government. This quote explains that citizens need to respect their government, and they should be rewarded with more rights in return. According to the quote, a person shouldn’t care for their government and get nothing in return.
