Diderot
Diderot was born in Langres, France in 1713. He was a french philosopher who wanted to learn about the universe. He studied multiple subjects in Paris, including languages, law, and literature. Diderot was the cheif editor of the encyclopedie, which is a history of what was known. It took him 20 years and a lot of help, but he finally finished it in 1772. Diderot also wrote some books, plays, and short stories. He died in 1784.
