Reaction to packet

I thought the industrial revolution packet was very interesting. It showed two different sides of the scientific revolution. There was the side that showed what was good about it and the wealth it brought. The other side was the workers who worked 16 hour shifts with no breaks, there are very poor conditions and low wages. In addition to that Unions were illegal so it was hard to fight the rich companies, all but entirely impossible. The children and women worked too simply to support the family. Times were hard.
