Packet Response

I thought that the packet was very interesting. A lot of things went into the industrial revolution, and, like the scientific revolution, globalization and sharing of ideas was something that had to happen in order for it to occur, and also a product of it as well. The conditions of those working in the factories were interesting to read about as well, though I thought it was very cruel to have children working so many hours in those factories under those terrible conditions. Even if the conditions were better, they shouldn't have been working there at all. Still, many things were accomplished during the industrial revolution, like the lightbulb and combustion motors, and it was a very important event.
