Industrial Revolution Article

I felt that this was an interesting article. It's important to recognize that the Industrial Revolution (1700-1900) was one of the most pivotal periods in human history. Britain, for example, contained all of the components necessary for the creation of an industrial society. Between those two hundred years, it's amazing to observe the many inventors that revolutionized the lifestyle of society, such as the steam engine and locomotive. Probably some of the most significant innovations were created by Alexander Graham Bell and Thomas Edison, who actually turned out to be against each other. The development and separation between the working and middle class was interesting as well. People began to live in cities, and an agricultural revolution had laid the groundwork for the era of industrialization. It basically created a momentum into the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
