WB Movie
While watching this movie, it's clear that it's made from the perspective of some one who completely supports the World Bank. Namely, the World Bank itself. However, that wasn't my main problem with the movie. My main problem with that movie, as with others like it, is the way the people are shown. They are shown as people who never see happiness, have no prospects, and are basically living a doomed life, until this organization stepped in. They never show the people as human, only as something that people can look at, say "oh that's sad," and throw money at. I'm not saying that they don't need or appreciate the money, or that people don't care, but it's important to look at people from a human standpoint, not a political or business standpoint.
