Thomas Hobbes
Thomas Hobbes was born in London, England on April 5, 1588. He believed that all people were selfish creatures who would do anything to better their position. He also believed that if they were not watched on, the would act on their evil impulses. because of this theory, Hobbes thought that a king as a leader to provide direction and leadership would be good. in 1651, Hobbes wrote a book called Leviathan that explained his theories, which turned out to be his most famous work. Hobbes died on December 4, 1679.
