Sir Isaac Newton was born on December 25, 1642 in Woolsthorpe, Lincolnshire, England. He died on March 20, 1727 in London. Isaac was a figure of scientific revolution of the 17th century. He was an English physicist and mathematician. Isaac Newton discovered the composition of the white light which laid a foundation for modern physical optics. He proposed his three laws of motions which resulted in the law of universal gravitation. His first law is known as the law of inertia, which is that if a body is at rest or moving at constant speed in a straight line, it will stay that way unless acted upon by a force. His second law is the description of the changes that a force can produce on the motion of a body. His third law is the law of action and reaction. This law states that when two bodies interact they apply forces to one another that are equal in magnitude and opposite in direction.
In mathematics, Sir Isaac Newton made a great discovery. He was the original discoverer of calculus. Newton’s work, “Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematicia (Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy)”, was published in 1687. His work was important in the history of modern science.

I Would also like to add to this post that Sir Issac Newton also woas the made the "discovery" of naming what we all kmow now as gravity. He started thinking about gravity when he was sitting reading under and apple tree and a apple fell on his head. he then sudied what made it fall and named the force Gravity.
