Defining American culture

In class people were saying that American culture takes forever to define because it is ever-changing. American culture can have a definition that conforms and changes just as the culture does. American culture can be defined as the following: American culture is the ever-changing practices, traditions and holidays of the American citizen.

  1. I like what you've said here, and I think that your description of our culture is a good one. However, culture is more that just practices traditions and holidays. It's also what people are interested in, what's popular, and what mindset people have. When looking at any culture from any country, you have to look at how people feel.

  3. I would like to add that American Culture also consists of Americans enjoying T.V and cellphones. American people are interested in American stuff. Even some of other cultures are interested in what Americans are interested in. Also, most Americans have the mindset knowing that they have to work hard to achieve their goals.

  4. There are people in the world who enjoy T.V. and cellphones other than Americans. There is also no such thing as "American stuff" as everything that makes up America comes from other cultures.
