American Culture

The original question was can American culture be defined and if so how? I don't think that American culture can be defined in a sentence, but that doesn't mean that there isn't such a thing as American culture. American culture just can't be defined in words. It's just to complex and is a mixture of hundreds of different cultures. Even within those cultures not everyone is the same. A person might have some of the same traditions as another person, but there culture isn't exactly the same. There are different variations of those cultures. A person could describe what they think American culture is, but someone else might have a different definition. Because of this there can't be a clear definition of American culture, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. That just means you can't define it in one or two sentences.
