American Culture

As a continuation of our discussion in class, I would like to say that the original question was can American culture be defined and the group I am a part of has answered this question and defined American culture to the best of our ability. I believe that it can be defined, but the definitions are on a personal basis. How I define American culture might be different than you but we both are able to define it in our own words. Sure it is a hard task but it is possible.

    In respect to what Simone is saying, I believe that to define a culture it needs to be so most other people can see. A culture as large and ever changing as our own is impossible to define even on just a personal basis.

    I agree with Samara but, Simone I completely understand what you are saying. I just think that it can't be defined because of the many aspects of American Culture. Yes, it does depend on your own opinion, but it can't be defined to everyone because of how everyone's is different.
