Testimony concerning Women/Child Labour
This primary source is a testimony given by Dr. Samuel Smith to the house of commons. He was interviewed about women/child workers and whether they are good or bad. This hearing was about making an act to improve working conditions for workers and to address whether women or children make capable employees. This hearing took place in 1832 in Britain.
