Mao Tse Tung- CCP

Mao Tse Tung was a very imporntant political figure for many years in china. He was the founder of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) in 1921. He siezed power in china and made himself a dictator. Although he had tried to take over japan he wasn't succesful. He attempted to use communism to balence the cultrual differences between urban and rural areas in Asia. As a child he was the son of a peasont farmer which probably inflenced him to think communism was what china's government needed.

  2. I believe that he did use propaganda, but fear was one of the ways Mao controlled his citizens. He was certainly similar to a dictator. I think That Communism and dictatorships are alike only because there is a head of state that controls everything. It is also possible to have both in one country, "a Communist country with a dictator".
