China under Deng Xiaoping
When China was under Deng Xiaoping's rule it was a communistic government. Everyone was on equal ground and the government distributed everything evenly because he made order in the country. Then Chairman Mao took over the country in a cultural revolution in which he destroyed most of the history of China. Mao then was known as the unifier of China because he had helped the poor people become one equal ground with everyone else. This was seen as a good thing to most of the country because most of the country was poor. Then Mao succeeded in exiling Deng and a big war was fought over who would rule China eventually Mao won and became Chairman Mao Zedong. When Chairman Mao eventually died he appointed a new person named Hua Guofeng to be the ruler and Hua called Deng back from exile to try and restore order as he had in the past. Then Deng attempted to take power once again. When he gained the support of the other high ranking government officials he succeeded in taking over power. This whole chapter in history was one of the many battles fought between the Soviets and the Americans during the Cold War. Deng was backed up by the US and Mao was supplied by the USSR.

Nice article!
ReplyDeleteIt just occurs to me that China doesn't seem very 'communistic' or community wise if someone's always trying to rule and take over like a dictator. Isn't it supposed to be like a utopia? I don't know, what do you think?
Mind blowing article to find out how China's government balanced out the differences between the poor and the rich with those two leaders
