PBS Wide Angle

I thought this movie was an interesting movie because it showed what kids out of the culture do and show how everyday life is different to them and we can also compare different things about their lives to ours. I saw how each and every day they have a struggle to become something greater than how their family is doing. They have to take on responsibilities of an adult. Education was not a easy access route for a lot of the kids because some either didnt have time to have education except at the night sessions or some were being persecuted to the point where it is a scary thing to walk to school when the rest of society is brought up not to allow girls to have an education, but other kids such as Jefferson needs an education because it is the only way to get out of the horrible neighborhood he lives in.
